Your Pathway to Teaching Pilates Tower & Cadillac

This online CPD course provides the essential first step for Pilates Matwork and/or Reformer instructors and physiotherapists who want to expand their teaching onto the Pilates Tower or Cadillac. By the end of the programme, you’ll be able to confidently deliver a Tower Induction session, teach 40+ foundational exercises, and gain industry insurance to teach Tower/Cadillac Pilates.

Delivered in a hybrid manner with online course materials, the course combines structured video lessons, guided practice, and assessment via video submission and virtual tutor review. It equips you with the knowledge and skills to introduce clients safely and effectively to the Pilates Tower.

Learning Objectives

On completion, you will be able to:

  • Teach 41 Tower/Cadillac exercises with appropriate progressions and regressions.

  • Understand the anatomy of the Tower/Cadillac and safe use of all components.

  • Apply teaching cues for lying, seated, kneeling, and standing positions.

  • Deliver a structured Tower Induction Workout with confidence.

  • Gain insurance eligibility as a Pilates Tower/Cadillac instructor.

Course Content

In addition to the Tower Induction Workout, you’ll study exercises across key components:

  1. Push Through Bar

  2. Roll Down Bar

  3. Leg Springs

  4. Arm Springs

  5. Miscellaneous repertoire

Prerequisites

  • Completion of the Mbodies Studio Health & Safety lecture and multiple‑choice test.

  • Pilates instructors must hold a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or demonstrate current insurance as a fitness professional.

  • Physiotherapists and medical movement specialists should have prior knowledge of Pilates fundamentals.

Duration & Assessment

  • Study Time: Flexible, self‑paced online learning, approximately 25 hours.

  • Assessment: Submit a video of you teaching the Tower Induction Workout, plus a virtual Zoom assessment with your tutor.

  • Tutor Support: Technical support is included via email, video conferencing, or messaging. Practical tutor one‑to‑one sessions (virtual or face‑to‑face) are available for £65-£75. These are optional for teaching and learning support but compulsory to sign off on learning at the end of the course.

  • Certification: Issued upon successful completion and tutor approval.
