Pilates Reformer Repertoire Module CPD

Master 239 Contemporary Reformer Exercises

This Bolt-On intensive hybrid CPD module is for Pilates instructors and physiotherapists who have taken or are taking the Reformer Entry CPD or a first Pilates Instructor Reformer qualification to expand their teaching repertoire on the Pilates Reformer. Building on the foundational skills taught in the Reformer Induction course, this programme focuses exclusively on repertoire — covering 239 contemporary Reformer exercises across beginner, intermediate, and selected advanced levels.

Delivered online, the course combines structured video lessons and guided practice. Assessment is via tutor review (face-to-face or virtual) or small group face-to-face workshops. By the end, you’ll be equipped to deliver safe, effective, and varied Reformer programming for both individual clients and group classes.

Learning Objectives

You will learn to:

  • Teach a wide range of Reformer exercises with variations and modifications.

  • Apply safe teaching cues in lying, seated, kneeling, and standing positions.

  • Use standard Reformer accessories including Jumpboard, platform extender, straps, footbar, long/short box, maple pole, plank bars, and Gondola pole.

  • Build programming for cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, flexibility, and strength.

  • Confidently integrate repertoire into one‑to‑one or group Reformer sessions.

The 239 exercises are organised into 31 lessons across 8 categories:

Duration & Assessment

  • Study Time: Approx. 50 hours of home study.

  • Assessment: A summative 2‑hour Zoom of face-to-face learning assessment with a tutor or sign off your learning in stages through scheduled one-on-one sessions with your tutor as you work through the course
